✅ 1) Check if it’s a User vs. Supervisor password
If it’s a User password, sometimes you can still boot into Windows and change settings.
A Supervisor/Administrator password requires official reset through Lenovo support.
✅ 2) Contact Lenovo Support
Visit: https://support.lenovo.com
Provide:
Laptop serial number
Proof of purchase
For Legion models, BIOS passwords are stored on the motherboard’s security chip and cannot be cleared by removing the CMOS battery.
✅ 3) Visit an Authorized Service Center
Lenovo can reset it by:
Verifying ownership
Reprogramming or replacing the motherboard (in some cases)
⚠️ Important
There is no official master password for modern Legion laptops.
Online “generator tools” are usually scams or unsafe.
